ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Anna Payer!
I am an artist from Graz and I love expressing my creativity in unique pieces of jewelry. Every piece I make tells its own story - inspired by my life, the little moments that excite me, the beauty of nature and everything that surrounds me.
My creativity is not limited to jewelry. I paint, draw, knit, work with clay and make linocuts. I love bringing my ideas and impressions to life using different materials and techniques. For me, art is a way to make what is inside me visible and to express emotions through shapes, colors and structures.
I also draw all the cards and cases that my jewelry is packaged in by hand - each one is unique. The patterns and mandalas that I design for them are inspired by my travels, for example to India and Mexico. These experiences flow into my designs and give them a very special touch.
I even carved the stamps for my gift wrapping out of linoleum myself. I stamp each package by hand so that it is as individual as the jewelry inside. I love adding a personal touch to every detail and creating something that is thought out and designed with love from start to finish.
In addition to my passion for art and design, I am currently studying for my master's degree in physics. I am fascinated by the symmetries and patterns found in nature and science - from the delicate structures of a crystal to the elegant wave movements in physics. These natural shapes and laws always inspire me to create new designs. I love combining clear geometric lines with organic, flowing shapes to create jewelry that is both harmonious and timeless. For me, the art lies in combining order and creativity and creating something that is both aesthetic and expressive.
Here are a few more pictures of my artwork that give an insight into my work and my creative world.
